Bluejack National, a Tiger Woods-designed golf course community, offers various residential property types tailored to different lifestyles, each featuring a limited floor plans. To add an elevated level of personalization, Monarch & Maker's design team crafted various architectural packages that help residents feel truly at home. While the Lake Villas share a standard floor plan, strategic variations in finishes—from countertops and flooring to paint selections—ensure each residence stands apart. Our designers further differentiated properties through custom furnishings, accessories, wallcoverings, and window treatments, allowing each home to tell its own story. What begins as a standardized floor plan becomes a canvas of possibility—where intentional design choices can transform, personalize, and completely reimagine the very essence of a space, making it uniquely yours.
Lake Villa 1: Sophisticated Soft Glam
This transitional home masterfully balances whimsy and refinement, showcasing a neutral yet captivating color palette. Drawing inspiration from the client’s Tommy Mitchell botanical art collection, the design integrates botanical themes, mixed metals, and touches of glamour throughout the space.
custom upholstery
Our team infused each room with intriguing textures and hints of opulence. Working closely with the client, we created custom upholstery pieces that feature a symphony of patterns and textures while maintaining a neutral palette. Some chairs feature multiple fabrics on the body, seat, and back, transforming them into works of art. This approach offers a simple yet effective way to elevate any piece of upholstery into a striking focal point.
The BAR & DINING ROOM
The wet bar pays homage to the Great Gatsby era, boasting antique mirrored tile, mixed metals, and exquisite glassware. With entertaining at the heart of the client's lifestyle, the proximity of the bar to the dining room was a natural choice. We maintained elevated, neutral furniture in the dining room to ensure cohesion within the space while allowing the bar to take center stage.
Glamour in every corner
The kitchen captivates from every angle, with fine art, crystal, and chinoiserie vases carefully selected to reflect the client's glamorous style. Kitchen shelving can serve as functional storage or an opportunity to showcase a fabulous collection of décor, infusing an often overlooked room with character.
We rounded out the space with sculptural, hand-finished Global Views Counter Stools that serve as standout pieces to make a statement yet remain elegant.
Lake Villa 2: Bold & Curated
This residence immediately envelops visitors in contemporary charm, showcasing high-contrast colors, captivating fabrics, and an eclectic array of pieces that infuse creativity into every corner. Our design aims to reflect the client's vibrant personality, creating a space that's as fun as it is stylish.
the dining room
Recognizing that the dining room is often the entertaining epicenter, we especially emphasized this space with playful elements. Striking Arteriors Aramis Sconces flank a whimsical piece of art, their avant-garde design both commanding and unique. The dining table, finished in striated ebony, boasts a sleek silhouette elevated by the bold character of its tabletop and legs. Custom dining chairs add depth to the space, while different head chairs in the same color palette create a more bespoke feel – one of our favorite dining room design tricks.
We deliberately chose neutral draperies and rugs to provide visual breathing space, allowing the eye to focus on the fun design details without feeling overwhelmed. This balance is crucial in whimsical spaces, ensuring that each carefully chosen element has its moment to shine.
Pet-Friendly
For our pet-loving client, integrating their four-legged companions into the design was a must! We opted for performance fabrics throughout – a necessity for homes with pets and young children. These durable, stain-resistant materials ensure both style and practicality. Custom portraits of the family's beloved Frenchies add a personal touch, embodying our belief that a home should celebrate all that one holds near and dear.
curated accessories
We leveraged color, pattern, and scale to create an interesting, playful design. The kitchen's simple black and white palette serves as a canvas for shelves adorned with abstract sculptures, iridescent vases, and unique objects. Oversized Currey & Company Arurog Pendants introduce an organic element while lending grandeur to the space – an important consideration in open-concept homes.
This approach to lighting prevents the design elements from being swallowed up by the space, a common issue in larger areas. Oversized fixtures are a quick way to make a home feel more custom, demonstrating how thoughtful design choices can dramatically elevate a space's overall impact.
Lake Villa 3: Minimalist Organic Boho
This rustic Bohemian haven pays homage to nature, drawing inspiration from the adjacent lake and surrounding woods. The designers took cues from natural stone artwork, incorporating a color palette that echoes earthy greens and browns.

In the dining room, every element contributes to the design narrative. A natural wood slab table serves as the focal point, complemented by woven chairs and a 100% wool rug, all chosen to imbue the space with organic texture. The window treatments feature woven wood shades and drapery adorned with a sophisticated striped leaf pattern.
While the other two Lake Villa properties feature built-in bars, this homeowner opted for a Hooker Credenza paired with Uttermost statement mirrors—a versatile choice that offers more flexibility for future design changes. Unlike permanent built-ins, this furniture-based solution can be easily updated as styles evolve, often proving more cost-effective while maintaining a similar functionality.
natural materials
Created as a sanctuary from city life, this family-friendly space incorporates a variety of natural materials, including teakwood, leather, cotton, terracotta, horn, shells, marble, emerald, onyx, quartz, and charcoal. Each element has been thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall aesthetic and create a harmonious connection with the surrounding landscape.
Artful wall stories
Throughout the home, thoughtfully curated wall art creates moments of visual intrigue. In the living room, small tapestries crafted from artisanal rugs serve as unconventional wall pieces, adding texture and warmth to the space. The dining room features a striking wooden wall installation that brings organic dimension to the room while echoing the natural elements found in the adjacent furniture. Each art choice was intentionally selected to not only complement the room's design but also to showcase the homeowner's appreciation for craftsmanship and natural materials.
